Chrissy Teigen And John Legend Expect Their First Baby Together

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting their first baby as the plucky supermodel announced on her Instagram Monday that she is three months pregnant with the couple’s first child.

“John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant.  As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family,” she posted on social media.

“We’re so excited that it’s finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx”

A source revealed to E! News that, “Chrissy and John are so happy. It’s not been the easiest for Chrissy, but they knew when the right time came they would be pregnant.”

“Chrissy is feeling great and enjoying every second being pregnant. She is taking good care of her body and making sure her and their baby are healthy and feeling good. John has been a huge support for Chrissy during this time. He could not be more excited until their baby comes into this world,” the source adds.

The couples have been very outspoken in the last year on their desire to have a child, and just recently while at the 2015 Television Critics Association summer press tour, where she was promoting her upcoming show FABLifealongside Tyra Banks, Chrissy exclaimed that she’s ready to settle down.

“I’m aging. I love bouncing around. I love going on tour with John, we’ve considered ourselves bi-coastal for 10 years now. It’s definitely weird and different to have a home now,” she said. “I’m ready to have a family and call Los Angeles my home.”

Teigen was also very open about revealing her fertility struggles during an emotional discussion on the morning show.

“I will say, honestly, John and I are having trouble,” Teigen confessed, adding that they’ve seen fertility doctors. “We would have kids five, six years ago if it’d happened,” she added. “But my gosh, it’s been a process!”

Which is why we are exceedingly glad for the two love birds as we wish them a happy parenting life ahead!
